Reindeer or 2 - Craftycardmakers Challenge

HoHoHo!! Here is my Reindeer card. I have used a digi stamp that I have had for years and coloured them in using Tim Holtz Distress Inks. For the backing I found some christmas paper from last year and added red ribbon, red flourish dies, a ribbon rose, red pearls in each corner and some ivy down the side to give my card some texture.

"Autumn"

October Challenge "Contemporary Christmas"

Hello everyone

Sure signs it getting close to Christmas. Cold and dark early evenings and Christmas stuff already in the shops. Anyway, here is my card for this months challenge at http://jandccreationschallenge.blogspot.co.uk. Please pop over and have a go all is welcomed.

"Contemporary Christmas"

Here is my contemporary Christmas Card for this month's Challenge.

Materials:

Red Card

White Happy Christmas Ribbon

Wild Rose Studio Stamp from J&C Creations

Spellbinders Label Twenty-Three Die from J&C Creations

Marianne Design Christmas Tree Die from J&C Creations

Tim Holtz Distress Pens from J&C Creations

Red Liquid Pearl from J&C Creations

How I made the card:

1.            Red card for background and cut around the edge using a twist cutting tool.

2.            Using white card I embossed the next layer using a spotted embossing folder and

               layered it using red and white card.

3.            I wrapped across the card ribbon with "Happy Christmas" written on it.

4.            I stamped a Wild Rose Studio image onto white card and coloured it in using Tim Holtz 

               Distress Pens.

5.            Die Cutting 3 Christmas Trees and layering them up at a angle to give it a bit more

               depth and using Red liquid Pearls to give the effect that the tree is decorated.

6.            To finish off I have used a holly die flourish.

Backing paper from Card Creations and I have distressed around the edges.

Top backing backing paper is by Magnolia Tilda also distressed around the edges.

The card has been scattered with punched out butterflies and coloured with glitter glue.

"Having a Sunny Day" Postcard

Good afternoon all

One of the card challenges I am entering today is "By the Seaside". This challenge is to make a postcard with a sea and beach incorporated into the card so here is my postcard to you all.

I have used Magnolia Stamps for my postcard. The background is Sun, Sea & Sand and I have used Ewin & Tilda as extra toppers who are having a good time.

The postcard measures Approx 6" x 4".

I have distressed around the edges and coloured the whole image with promarkers.

It feels like winter today!! Wet and not very warm.

For this challenge I have made a Christmas Paper Carrier Bag.

I have used different types of methods such as tearing, distressing & die cutting.

For the backing I have used 2 type of christmas paper and teared around the edge and backed it onto red card. The snow flake die cut is from the Tim Holtz sizziz On the edge range. The topper is a tilda magnolia stamp which I have coloured in using promarkers. I have also added embellishments from my craft stock.

"Friends Forever"

This is my 3rd card for this June Challenge for J & C Creations.

The topper that I have used is "Nose to Nose" Penny Black Stamp coloured in with promarkers.

I have die cut this image using Spellbinders "Fleur De Lis Rectangles". For embellishments I have used metal corners, ribbon and a flower. For my sentiment I have used letter stickers and put onto white card and backed that with brown co-ordinating card. Items can be purchased from J & C Creations.

This card is ideal for any occassion. This is made using a Penny Black stamp, Lilac Backing Paper & Card, Dollie, Ribbon, Flowers and hat pins. This card was very spimply to do and I think is very plain but pretty in a way. With the two mice holding a rose this could be for any birthday/anniversary or wedding. The stamp has been coloured in with promarkers and distressed around the edges using Tim Holtz distress Inks. The products I have used have been purchased from J & C Creations.

J & C Creations - June Challenge

"Little Boy Blue"

This is a great challenge this month folks!! All of the Penny Black Stamp range from J & C Creations are all fantastic and it is very hard to choose which one is my favourite. For this card I have used "Fly Away". How cute is he!!!! I have made this 8 x 8 card by using a blue backing paper with various wording written on it and made 2 tabs down the side to look abit like a book. I have cut the stamp out with a spellbinders die cut. For the little added extras I have used candys, string and a tag with Happy Birthday stamped on it. To give the card abit more depth I have distressed all around the edge using Tim Holtz distress inks colour weathered wood. All of my toppers are coloured in using promarkers.
